Compaq 510

Hewlett-Packard seems to be stopping their low end products with HP’s brand on their notebook line. Once I was browsing on diversity, I see there are 3 new products from Compaq. And after I saw the model and chipset, it is almost similar to the HP 540. The fundamental difference from the HP Compaq CQ 540 and 510 are:

HP 540 Compaq CQ 510
Resolution 1280 x 800 pixels 1366 x 768 pixels
Screen 14.1 “WXGA 14.1 “WXGA LED
Processors Core 2 Duo T5670 1.8 GHz Core 2 Duo 5870 2.0 GHz
Webcams Nothing Yes 2 MP
Logo on the back of the screen hp Large Q

From the price, cheaper Compaq 510 series. Compaq 510 can disable sata native, so if you want to install Windows XP without SATA you can do it with the BIOS. But if you want use SATA native, you must be able to install Windows XP, provided that such use nLite on my previous writing, to the driver must find his own. From the same chipset with 540 HP I expect to use HP 540 driver for windows XP. So take your pick, HP 540 with CPU jadul but using the brand HP or 510 with CPU CQ pretty speeding, webcams, LED backlit, 16:9 display but with the Compaq brand?
